I reached out to GoComics about the Sunday-only issue:

What’s up with Peanuts Begins? You’ve had 4 Sunday strips in a row. Just curious, because we’re missing a lot of strips that would be fun to see, unless you’re planning to play catch-up later.

    I received the following answer:

If you hit the icon start from the beginning you will see them all. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Following their instructions, one sees that they’ve got an issue they’re not addressing, and I responded:

Actually, that’s not quite true. On November 15, you displayed the comic for August 15, 1954. Since then, including today’s strip, there have been Sunday strips only; look at your own calendars (I attached a screenshot ) from August 1954 to January 1955. After August 15, there are only Sunday strips available until December 26, 1954, after which there is nothing at all. So the question is: Is this a glitch, or a copyright issue, or what? Thank you.

I will return and report if they come back with any further information.
