It’s a pretty informal orchestra. You can just call it Phil.

Philip plays the Harmonic-a and Schroeder plays along.

Brahms is just about the most difficult of all classical composers to play.

So that’s where he got the money for all those busts of Beethoven in his closet…

I wonder if he’ll use that “baby” grand he’s playing on right there.

Philip Harmonic, huh? Nice to know Schulz was clearly thinking like a child when he wrote this. I’m serious about that, I’d probably have said the same thing at that age.

Brahms’ First Piano Concerto is my favorite ‘classical’ piece. I checked the miniature score out of the Buffalo Public Library many times as a kid/teenager and played my favorite sections of the 1st and 2nd movements over and over. I wore out my Van Cliburn LP, and was thrilled to finally see/hear him perform it live with the Buffalo Philharmonic. My goosebumps had goosebumps.

I love how he barely discovered the piano two days ago and he’s already going to play with the “Philip Harmonic.”
