In S. Korea all things retro are coming back into fashion, among them sidewalk photography using metal plate cameras.

I have a question. I’ve got a photo of a couple of my great-aunts walking in Chicago, taken by a sidewalk photographer. But it took time back then to process film and make prints. So how did that work, exactly? Did the photographer give the subject a card with his business address, and then they stopped by his studio later that day to look at the photos and hopefully purchase?

A photo of a sidewalk. If I didn’t know they had sidewalks there (see yesterday’s second panel), then I’d assume he’d never seen a sidewalk before.

Today’s strip is revolutionary for revealing Charlie Brown’s character through his choice of a photo. Boring as hell.
