Some kids feel safer surrounded by their stuff.

I once read a story called “A Zoo In Her Bed.”

During his cutie-pie phase, Mr. Schulz skittered precariously near precipice of toxic sweetness.

My daughters loved to sleep with as many stuffies as they could. One day, I picked up my younger daughter from daycare. I noticed that all of the kids were napping when brand new teddy bears (It was usually nap time when I’d pick her up). The teacher told me that Officer Friendly came by & gave all of the kids stuffies for Christmas. They were all “normal teddy bear sized”. Suddenly, I hear my daughter calling me; she ran up to me, holding a HUGE yellow dog, about the same size as her! I don’t know why she got the honor of this huge stuffy. “Yellow” got added to her menagerie, being big enough to be an extra blanket when it’s cold. My daughter is 15 now, and she still sleeps with Yellow.

With these “nite nite” cartoons, it seems that Li’l Lucy is always saying goodnight to her Dad, not her Mom.

I guess a pea won’t bother her in later years.

If she’s able to get into her crib and out of it by herself, isn’t she ready for a “big girl” bed?

A portent of things to come. Everything belongs to Lucy, including Charlie Brown’s future football.

Apparently Lucy comes from a single parent household. Never mentions “Mommy”.

Why does little Lucy always look like she’s wasted?

She looks like Snoopy sleeping on his house!
