When I was Lucy’s age at that time, I went down a much longer slide in Tampa.

Ah-ha! Lucy just landed on the ‘turn on the crabbiness’ spot on her head!

Lucy looks like a baby Stepford Wife. Either that, or her parents already have her on Ritalin.

Now I’m wondering if they could add a slide event to competitive gymnastics.

Charlie Brown here does to Lucy, inadvertently, what Lucy will do to Charlie Brown with malice aforethought for years by pretending to hold the football for him to kick and then yanking it away at the very last second. KLUNK!

Brain damage in small children is not uncommon.

Have her practice holding the football for you, Charlie.

That hit must have knocked her silly…she has a slight grin in the last panel.

Remember this Charlie Brown in a few years when Lucy starts yanking the football away from you and you land flat on your back

…and you wonder why she later pulled the football away…

…and from that day on, Lucy went psycho and vowed to get revenge on Charlie Brown for the rest of her life!
