And Charlie Brown wonders why Patty grew to despise him!
What girls-only programs on the radio were there at the time? I know boys would like The Lone Ranger or his grandnephew The Green Hornet.
Don’t the kids in that neighborhood go home for dinner?
Radio shows did have a bit of a comeback. I remember listening to “Alien Worlds” and “Chicken Man” on the radio back in the late 1970’s.
Good ol’ Charlie Brown?
A little Snarky there, Charlie Brown!
Have the Shadow on tape that my mother left me! “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, the Shadow knows”!
Sly way of getting a little payback, for all the times they were mean to him.
Gangbusters! Patty has esoteric tastes.
I highly doubt it was still on by this time (1952?) but a late 40s radio show I love is My Favorite Husband with Lucille Ball and Richard Denning. It was an early radio version of I Love Lucy.
Howard Stern?
Chuck is holding out for Jack Benny.
Wow – that is old!
