Growing up in St. Pete., Florida, we made sandmen on the beach.
In southern Michigan we usually had a 50/50 chance, but by January we usually had snow!
Here in MA, we had snow until yesterday. Then it rained all day.
I hear mudmen are also very popular…
Perhaps they could substitute marshmallows for snow.
I’m still impressed that he says: Which shall we do instead of the more common (but probably grammatically incorrect) “What should we do today?”

It rained Christmas Dayt and washed away not only their white Christmas but for the next three days as well. If not longer.
Calvin and Hobbes did a joke here once. So did FoxTrot, except in FoxTrot there was snow, but not enough. Man, I wish it snowed here.
