If it takes 5 minutes to play a game of checkers, you can play 12 games in one hour. If you play 12 hours a day, seven days a week, that’s 52,560 games a year. At that rate, it will take over 19 thousand years to play one billion games, and nearly two million years to play one hundred billion games. I think Lucy’s goals are a little bit unrealistic.
