Ah, when Snoopy was a “real” dog, and not the anthropomorphic being he became. Years later, Joe Cool would likely be able slide down standing up and do a back flip at the end.
I had a dog who used to love sliding down a slide. She also loved climbing up the slide. And I mean up the slide itself, not the steps to the top of the slide. Lassie would get a good running start and go right up the slide.

Well, it looked kind of fun for a dog.

I mean, have you ever seen a dog trying to ride a slide? :D

Practice, Snoopy practice!

Neighbor’s Bassett hound would do this with no prompting. He’d be alone in their back yard climbing up and sliding down.

Shouldn’t that have been more of a “splat”?

Snoopy just isn’t ready for a slide.
