How long until Lucy’s gimmick?

Is this the first instance of CB’s socks and shoes flying off?

The football kick had to have been one of the most overused skit – especially when Lucy took to holding the football. these early Peanuts strips were nice and Charlie Brown was a normal kid. Not unlike the strip in the 60’s when they became rehash after rehash of older strips and Charlie Brown became the ultimate loser

That kid has the most fall-off-able clothing.

I’ve seen lots of shoes fly off when kicking, but never a sock.

It gets worse Charlie…

So it wasn’t Lucy’s fault after all.

I never knew that you got the chance. That was some kick. Way to go. in a Charlie Brown WAY, of course…..

He kicked it so hard that it changed color.

At least he was able to kick it.
