That’s one smart little toddler, and utterly adorable. Baby Linus was a cutie pie and it’s awfully nice to see him right now in these horrific times. His happy little face in the last panel is a tonic.

If only it could’ve occurred to me back in the day.

Lucy, Charlie Brown, just watch the program, not Linus and his block chair.

Linus shatters the four-panel format just for a closer proximity to Captain Video.

“Excuse me while I block your TV show.”

Too bad he didn’t have his blanket yet. He could have used it for a seat cushion.

This strip would not have been in color in the 50s. It is interesting to see that the colorist got the B&W TV right. Not being part of the comic’s creation, they often make mistakes. In yesterday’s Herman, the woman’s left knee was colored as if part of the desk.

I expect the “C B” blocks under Charlie Brown were intentional…

And the other day, young Linus built a stack of blocks in a way that Charlie Brown said shouldn’t be possible, and yet they stood. We could have had a budding engineer, had he not changed gears later on and become a philosopher/theologian.

Got talent that little one……
