I just noticed that Miss Van Pelt is wearing a dress that’s nearly identical to the Grady Girls in The Shining. The Grady’s dresses were longer and had bow in the front, not the back. Their father, he was a real cup up, wasn’t he?

She admires Gen Winfield Scott, who was known as Old Fuss And Feathers.

Today they are referred to as “Karens” Lucy was ahead of her time and fidn’t know it.
