Charlie Brown stands on the diewalk and gazes across the street. His tricycle is next to him. "Here it is, the first day of winter, and there's not a bit of snow on the ground!"<BR><BR> "I can't think of anything more disgusting." he adds glumly, sitting onn the bicycle seat and resting his head on the handlebars.<BR><BR> "?" Charlie Brown turns around to see a lump of snow, or hail stone, or single snowflake, fall.<BR><BR> He stands and faces it: "A snowflake! It's starting to snow!!" he cries.<BR><BR> "Hey, everybody! It's snowing!!" he runs down the street, waving his arms.<BR><BR> He runs, yelling, "Get your sleds! Get your skis! Get your toboggans! Winter is here! It's snowing!!" Lucy, Snoopy, Patty and Violet all turn and stare at him. Patty and Violet are with a pram bavy carriage.<BR><BR> "Winter is here!" Patty cries, running after Charlie Brown. "Winter is here!!" Lucy echoes.<BR><BR> All the kids, now including Shermy and Schroeder (with an ice hockey stick) are dressed in snowsuits. Lucy is on a sled. Snoopy wears a dog coat. They and Charlie Brown stare at the single lump of snow on the ground.<BR><BR>
