Charlie Brown and Patty (who is reading) are sitting in the living-room. He asks, "Did you get the birthday card I sent, Patty?" She replies, "Huh? Oh...Oh, yes...I got it..."<BR><BR> He stoops next to her and asks, "It was a nice one, wasn't it?" She replies vaguely, "Huh, Oh ..Oh yes..it was nice."<BR><BR> They stand up and he says, "You didn't thank me for it..." She answers, "Huh? Oh, Oh, didn't I ? Well thank you..."<BR><BR> He walks off saying, "I like to do things for people who appreciate them..."<BR><BR>

So many people have gotten terribly entitled and ungrateful! When you put thought and effort into doing something for someone you do like for them to convey some appreciation, or at the least acknowledge it!
