Transcript:
Lucy watches as Charlie Brown walks down the lane enjoying an ice-cream. "Yum yum."<BR><BR> She follows him as he continues to eat his ice-cream: "Smack smack."<BR><BR> He jumps and the ice-cream goes flying as she yells, "IS IT GOOD?"<BR><BR> She laughs and runs as he chases her. The ice cream cone lies upside down on the sidewalk behind them.<BR><BR>
I prefer the Lucy of the earlier strips than the Lucy of the later strips. In later years, the boys’ code of ethics prevented them from hitting girls. And Lucy took advantage of this and regularly assaulted the boys, particularly Linus and Charlie Brown, with impunity.
Essentially, Lucy became a bully.
