Patty, Violet, and Charlie Brown are standing in the neighborhood. Patty smiles as Violet points at Charlie Brown and says, "We're going to have a party, Charlie Brown, and we're not going to invite you!"<br> <br> They smile as he clutches at his heart and exclaims, "YOU'RE NOT? Oh, what a crushing blow! What a Bitter Disappointment!"<br> <br> The girls walk away happy and smiling. Patty says, "Did you see the look on his face?" Violet replies, "It was a scream!"<br> <br> He watches them go with a smile. He says, "It's makes me feel good to know that I've made those two girls so happy..."<br> <br>

It seems like every month they tell Charlie Brown about these grand parties they’re throwing without inviting him. I’m starting to wonder if they’re just all talk and there are no parties.

Any hope that Violet and Patty were still good people was blown away by this strip
