Lucy glares at Linus as he sucks his thumb and holds his blanket.<br> <br> "You know, I can't possibly tell you how sick I get of seeing you drag around that stupid blanket!" Lucy announces.<br> <br> "It's not stupid...This blanket has many very practical usues..." Linus protests, holding up his blanket.<br> <br> "HA! THat's a laugh!" Linus walks away; "You just have no imagination, that's all."<br> <br> Lucy slumps in an armchair with a book, scowling. "I have plenty of imagination...It doesn't take any imagination to see he's CRAZY!"<br> <br> "Of all the brothers in the world I had to get HIM!" She complains as she sits in profile.<br> <br> "Well, you'll have to admit he's done it again!" Charlie Brown announces to Lucy. "Huh?" She sits up in the chair.<br> <br> "I said Linus has done it again..you'd better go see for yourself..." Charlie Brown points.<br> <br> "?" Lucy thinks as she walks.<br> <br> Outside, Linus has strung his blanket up as a hammock between two trees. He lies in it. Lucy closes her eyes.<br> <br>

Linus the Philosophic Theologian comes up with truly great innovations. It is difficult to imagine the mind of Charles Schulz regarding all the ‘story lines’ he came up with day by day over the years …..
