"Linus and Charlie brown are crawling through the Pumpkin patch, when Charlie Brown says: “If anyone had told me I’d be out crawling around among a bunch of pumpkins on Halloween night, I’d have said they were crazy!” <br> <br> There is a silhouette of Linus and Charlie Brown poking up from the pumpkin patch viewing the moon ahead. Linus says: “This is far enough..” <br> <br> Linus and Charlie Brown’s heads are just visible from behind the pumpkins, Linus is saying: “Just think, Charlie Brown…When the “Great Pumpkin” rises out of the pumpkin patch, we’ll be here to see him!” <br> <br> Charlie Brown turns to Linus and replies: “It just occurred to me that there must be ten million pumpkin patches in the country.. What makes you think we’re in the right one?” <br> <br> Once again we see the silhouette of Charlie Brown and Linus as Linus replies: “Just a feeling I have, Charlie Brown, Although I think this must be the kind of pumpkin patch he would prefer…” <br> <br> Still heads only showing from behind the pumpkin patch, Linus go on to say: “ I doubt if he likes large pumpkin patches…they’re too commercial…they’re more sincere…” Charlie Brown replies: “Somehow I’ve never thought of a pumpkin as being sincere…” <br> <br> Suddenly Linus get all excited and is pointing while yelling, “THERE HE IS! THERE HE IS!” Charlie Brown is startled by Linus’s yelling. <br> <br> Suddenly a silhouette appears in front of them and Linus puts his hands in front of his mouth While saying: ‘IT’S THE ‘GREAT PUMPKIN’! HE’S RISING UP OUT OF THE PUMPKIN PATCH” Charlie Brown has a questioning look, as he see’s that it is only Snoopy. <br> <br> Linus falls backwards and lands on his back moaning: “OHhhooo” then faints. Charlie Brown is looking at a smiling Snoopy poking up from the patch in front of them. <br> <br> Linus comes too and ask lifting his head a bit: “What happened? Did I faint? What did he leave us? Did he leave us any toys?” Charlie Brown and Snoopy are sitting next to Linus and Charlie Brown replies: “No toys…Just a used dog…” <br> <br> Linus sits up and is pointing while saying ”He must be well on his way by this time.. Happy journey, O, Great Pumpkin! Happy journey!” Charlie Brown looks at Snoopy and Snoopy is thinking “Used dog”!
