"Lucy and Linus are standing backstage, Linus is wearing a suit jacket and bow tie, and he is very worried as he says: “I’m no public speaker…I’m no performer.. Why so they have to have these Christmas programs?” <br> <br> Linus is now pacing in circles as Lucy watches. Linus goes on saying: “ This is running my whole Christmas!” <br> <br> Linus stops at the edge of the curtain holding his hands up to his chest shaking he tells Lucy: “I can’t do it! I can’t! I can’t remember a thing! I can’t I can’t! “<br> <br> Lucy pushes Linus on to the stage yelling at him: “YOU’RE ON!” <br> <br> Linus is standing in the middle of the stage with the spot light on him, he is thinking: ‘Good Grief!” <br> <br> Linus holds his arms out and starts to recite his lines: “And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.” <br> <br> Linus walks back stage and says to Lucy: “I did it! I did it! I said my piece! I said It! I said it!!” Lucy gives Linus a big Smile. <br> <br> Linus sit’s in a chair looking very relaxed while saying: “How about that? Boy, What a relief! I don’t want to have to go through that again a long as I live!” <br> <br> Linus stands up and has his arm out and Lucy is walking towards him, hold a piece of paper. Linus goes on saying: ‘ It’s all over, and I did it! What a relief! Boy, oh, boy! I can’t believe it!
