Charlie Brown carries a packeage. Lucy says, "You bought a new kite, Charlie Brown? That's cruel!"<BR><BR> Lucy says, "You're going to take that sweet innocent kite out, and tangle it around some tree? Oh, how cruel!"<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "Or worse yet, you're going to tangle it up in some telephone wires where it will hang all summer and be buffeted by the elements! How cruel! Oh, how inhumane!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands at the store counter and says, "I'd like to return a kite, please!"<BR><BR>

I’m surprised he uses his money to buy so many kites instead of candy or something else that won’t leave him wallowing in despair.

A man can not back down when he fails. To fail is an affront to his identity, no, Charlie Brown must constantly combat the kite so that one day he can realize his most glorious of victories.
