"But why did you have to bring up the 'Great Pumpkin'?" Charlie Brown follows Linus as they walk outside.<BR><BR> "It was my duty, Charlie Brown! Halloween will be here in a week, and everyone should be told about the 'Great Pumpkin'." Linus faces Charlie Brown. "Oh, good grief!" Charlie Brown closes his eyes.<BR><BR> "He rises out of the pumpkin patch with his bag of toys, and flies throught he air bringing joy to all the children of the world!" Linus raises his arms. Charlie Brown stares at him.<BR><BR> "You're looking at me like I'm crazy.." Linus protests. "I'm looking at you like I could have been Vice-President!" Charlie Brown retorts.<BR><BR>

I like Charlie Brown in opening panel: “Was it REALLY necessary to get the Great Pumpkin into this, Linus?” and in last panel: “I’m looking at you like you PURPOSELY BLEW my chance to be vice-president!” Well,sometimes it really is best to keep some personal ideas of yours PRIVATE, especially if they do tend to be “a little” on the SILLY side.
