Oh, come on now!"<BR><BR> Linus stands in front of a tree with fifteen snowballs behind it. He says, "How could I possibly hide fifteen snowballs behind a tree?"<BR><BR>

Was this supposed to be some kind of "psychology"test, or something? I mean, as if to test one’s ability, to figure out how you can hide fifteen snowballs behind a tree. And of course, the answer is in the last panel—by simply stacking them one on top of each other. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—intelligent though Linus was, he could be a little nut, upstairs, at times.

And who was he supposed to be talking to here? That’s one thing I don’t like about strips like this one-when someone is talking to someone else, but the one whom they’re talking to is invisible. There was a strip from the 1950s, where CB was yelling at someone who was out of sight, and I have always wondered, “So who was CB yelling at, in the strip?” Maybe it was Violet, or Lucy. Anyway, perhaps here, maybe it was Lucy Linus was talking to.
