Snoopy, wearing his stocking cap, skates around on the frozen birdbath.<BR><BR> He glides.<BR><BR> He leaps in the air.<BR><BR> A bird perches on the rim of the birdbath and watches Snoopy.<BR><BR> He watches Snoopy glide.<BR><BR> The bird looks up as Snoopy jumps high in the air.<BR><BR> "?" Snoopy thinks, as he turns around to see the bird.<BR><BR> The bird speaks. Snoopy looks at him.<BR><BR> Snoopy smiles and thinks, "How nice of him...He just flew in from Grenoble, and he said I would have won easily!"<BR><BR>

The birds are starting to look more like Woodstock will eventually.

Woodstock has already made his debut in this strip, but this bird could not be Woodstock. There is no way that Woodstock would be able to cross an ocean. He could barely cross a puddle.

This was the last day of the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble.

He just flew in from Grenoble, and boy are his arms tired!
