Lucy looks at a slip of paper and stands next to Charlie Brown. She says, "Someday, Charlie Brown, you're going to meet the girl of your dreams."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "Really?!" Lucy says, "Of course, and you're going to ask her to marry you."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown smiles and says, "How nice . ." Lucy says, "Waddya mean 'Nice'? She's going to turn you down and marry someone else!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown frowns. Lucy walks away and says, "This is very high on my list for you of 'Things you might as well know.'"<BR><BR>

Someday, Lucy, you’re going to meet the boy of your dreams… and then, just when you think he’s going to ask you to marry him, he’ll leave you for a kinder, less sadistic woman.

He has already seen the girl of his dreams. But it seems he won’t have the spine to even talk to her, much less ask her to marry him.
