Schroeder says, "You want me to write a letter recommending you for 'Neighborhood dog of the year'?"<BR><BR> Snoopy's ears stand up. Schroeder shouts, "When did you ever say anything nice about Beethoven?"<BR><BR> Schroeder plays the piano. Snoopy watches.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "I never knew that Beethoven wanted to be 'Neighborhood dog of the year.'"<BR><BR>
He’s carried “Beethoven’s Birthday” placards. That’s gotta be worth a letter.
