He says, "Things sure aren't the way I expected them to be . . ."<BR><BR> Rerun continues, "When I was first born everyone flocked around, but now I never see anyone! People seemed to laugh a lot more in those days, too . . ."<BR><BR> Rerun sighs.<BR><BR> Rerun plays in the sand and says, "Only a year old, and already I'm living in the past!"<BR><BR>

Rerun enters his wilderness years. Charles Schulz actually came to regret ever creating Rerun by the early 1980s. He ran out of ideas for him. Rerun came roaring back in the 1990s. Apparently, having grandchildren gave him lots of new ideas.
