Rerun is crying: WHAAA!<BR><BR> Linus turns around, "!"<BR><BR> Linus crouches down beside Rerun, who sits on the floor. "Don't cry, Rerun.." Linus says. "WAAH!" Rerun bawls.<BR><BR> Linus is on his knees. He pleads, "Please don't cry.." "WHAH" wails Rerun. Lucy walks up and demands, "What's going on?"<BR><BR> They stands wwatching him. Linus explains: "Rerun found out that he's staying home while the rest of us are going out to dinner..."<BR><BR> They walk away. Lucy says, "So what's the probblem? He'll be with a good sitter.." Rerun brightens up, thinking, " A sitter?"<BR><BR> Rerun looks after them, thinking, "That's different...what a relief."<BR><BR> "I was afraid they were going to put me in a kennel!"<BR><BR>

This is actually the first time all three Van Pelt siblings are seen together, in the same panel (they were all at the baseball game, but Linus seemed to be keeping his distance from Rerun). The next time they’re all together is 11 December 1982, and the time after that is 8 May 1995. Not a close-knit family.

The sitter is going to put Rerun in his room and set up a camera to monitor him. Then she’s going to sit in the living room in front of the TV and watch Rerun.
