Charlie Brown is the Goatest Of All Time!

I like to interpret he going “BAAH!” in closing panel as a pun-1. Obviously, the sound goats make, and 2. the interjection or exclamation “Bah!”(shades of Scrooge) meaning “So what? Big deal!”

Charlie Brown’s question in the second panel is worth contemplating. He doesn’t even know why he sabotaged himself. And does he subconsciously sabotage himself so that he is always the loser?
As a side note, it is interesting to note that being the GOAT is now considered a good thing, as “GOAT” stands for “Greatest Of All Time.”
