Marcie, Peppermint Patty and Lucy walk in the grass. Marcie says, "If you're going to have your ears pierced, sir, why don't you go to a doctor?"<BR><BR> Marcie continues, "He'll use a hypodermic needle, and then, to avoid infection, he'll put twenty-four karat gold bars in your ears for ten days until they heal."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty asks, "How much will he charge?" Marcie replies, "Probably twenty dollars . . That's the cost of an ordinary office call."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty, Marcie and Lucy sit on a bench. Peppermint Patty says, "Twenty dollars?!! For twenty dollars he should pierce your ears, check your eyes and cure your asthma!"<BR><BR>
