Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown share a desk at school. Peppermint Patty says, "Don't breathe through your mouth, Chuck!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "Don't lick your fingers when you turn the pages, Chuck, and don't scrape your feet on the desk . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty falls over. Charlie Brown shouts, "Will you stop criticizing me?!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown sit outside the principal's office. Peppermint Patty says, "Another fine mess you've gotten me into, Chuck!"<BR><BR>

As so often happens when you let rage build up inside you, when someone keeps PUSHING YOU, and PUSHING YOU, with “negativity,” when it finally comes to the “last straw,” WHAMMO—you explode, and, of course, regret it terribly(referring to Charlie Brown, of course, in Panel 3, and his and PP’s consequence, in the last panel.) Really, no wonder he favored the little red-haired girl, over PP; of course, she always acted like he didn’t exist, though, by denying that she even knew who he was. Poor Charlie Brown.
