Charlie Brown follows Sally across the living-room. The latter says,"Come on..I'll show you what I've learned about numbers." He stands by the table and watches as she writes several number '1's'.<BR><BR> She says,"These are one's." He asks,'How do we know that they're not eleven's?"<BR><BR> She replies,"If the third, sixth, and ninth got mad and left, then we'd have eleven's..." She places pairs of one's together and asks,"See?" He looks and replies,"I see."<BR><BR> She holds a sheet of two's up to him and says,"To work with numbers, you have to understand them....now, what are these?" He replies,"Two's?" He rolls his eyes as she looks at the paper and replies,"No, these are five two-hundred and twenty-two's! You don't understand numbers."<BR><BR> She asks,"Now, how do we know that they're not two two-hundred and twenty-two's with nine two's in the middle?" She says,"Because that would be dishonest! One's may leave, but two's are never dishonest!"<BR><BR> As he walks off, she turns to him and says,"This is what I mean by understanding numbers....where are you going?"<BR><BR> She calls,"Come back! I have some things to show you about five's that will make your head spin!"<BR><BR>
