Snoopy and Woodstock are walking along. Woodstock chirps a question. Snoopy thinks, "You could be...why not?"<BR><BR> They sit on the grass and Snoopy thinks, "I read once about an eagle carrying off a small child..."<BR><BR> He turns to Woodstock and thinks, "It'd be a good way for you to find out if you're an eagle...do you think you could carry away a small child?"<BR><BR> They turn and watch as Linus approaches. Linus stops and looks at the reader as Woodstock stands next to him whistling.<BR><BR> As Woodstock picks up a surprise Linus, Snoopy gestures to him and thinks, "No! No! Not like that! You're supposed to use your claws!!"<BR><BR> As Woodstock tugs on Linus hair, Snoopy raises his paws and thinks, "That's right! You got him! Lift! Lift! Up! Up! Up!"<BR><BR> Linus turns to Snoopy and exclaims, "All right! Tell this stupid friend of yours to get lost!"<BR><BR> Snoopy and Woodstock resume sitting on the grass. Snoopy thinks, "I guess I never did really believe those eagle stories..."<BR><BR>

Yeah—those aren’t eagles in the first panel, they’re geese. Silhouette, V formation, definitely geese.

Actually the first lift was pretty darn impressive. Put him in the Olympics as a weightlifter. Featherweight class of course.
