How could you blow a fifty run lead?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "There were two outs in the ninth inning! Explain yourself, Chuck! What happened?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown talks into the phone and says, "I'm sorry . . Mr. Brown is not in . . . If you'd care to leave your number, he'll try to get back to you sometime next year . . ."<BR><BR>

Chuck, in Panel 4: “I’ll tell you what—I’m looking at my caller ID unit as I speak, and you’re giving me hell, and I’ve got your number, and am contacting the authorities!”(How it would be today, of course—we didn’t have any features of Easy Call Tracing, in 1981.)
