Peppermint Patty sits at her desk looking at her report. She exclaims, "Wow!"<BR><BR> She races down the steps to Marcie holding out her report. She exclaims, "Look, Marcie, look!"<BR><BR> As Marcie looks at the report card, Peppermint Patty puts her hands in the air and continues, "I got an 'A' on my final report card!"<BR><BR> She says, "I've never gotten an 'A' before! How about that?" Marcie replies, "All I see are a bunch of 'D Minuses', sir."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty points at the report card and says, "Look at the top, Marcie...it's right there at the top..." Marcie looks and replies, "It says, 'Report Card' sir...this 'A' is just part of the word..."<BR><BR> Marcie picks up her bag and watches as Peppermint Patty looks at the report.<BR><BR> As they walk along, Peppermint Patty says, "Rats! Not getting an 'A' when you think you did is like losing a tie breaker...."<BR><BR>

Yet she can always say she did get an A on her report card.
