I remember a girl in grade school who named Deborah who had a sheet of paper with variations of how to spell her name: Deborah, Debra, Debrah, Debbie, Debbi, etc., plus, instead of just a dot over the “i”, she had hearts, stars, and who knows what else. I think she had 3 columns of a sheet of paper with all the variations she was considering using.
