Peppermint Patty is asleep at her desk. She says, "Z."<BR><BR> Her head drops: "Z."<BR><BR> She sits up, announcing, "I'm awake!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty turns to Marcie and asks, "What's happening, Marcie?"<BR><BR> Marcie answers, "While you were asleep, Sir, the world came to an end! You and I are the only people left alive!!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty runs as Marcie continues, "Volcanoes were erupting! Icebergs were melting! Everything is gone!"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty gazes out of a window.<BR><BR> They face each other. Peppermint Patty asks, "Then why is the playground full of kids?"<BR><BR> They are seated again. Marcie explains, "Sorry, Sir..when I saw you had got an 'A' on that paper, I thought the world had come to an end.." Peppermint Patty rolls her eyes.<BR><BR>
