Don’t kid yourself, StCrowe. She was enjoying watching Linus’ withdrawals.I remember another washday strip where she tosses him the blanket: “From the washer—to the dryer—to you!” and it’s still so hot he rolls over and over.
Do you think Linus saw little pink elephants while his blanket was in the wash?
I remember one strip where Lucy took his blanket from the clothesling on a cold winter’s day. Linus had to use it frozen solid. Lucy just said “You ought ot be glad Mom washes your blanket.”.

Lucy is unusually tolerant here. She usually doesn’t indulge his blanket attachment.

It would have been a painfully long wait had it been put on the line to dry.

From the dryer to Linus comic I believe also had Snoopy burning his mouth when he grabbed the blanket to take it from Linus.

There was an late 50’s series where Lucy hides his blanket for 2 weeks.

I’m surprised there’s no Great Pumpkin strip today.

if linus lived in my house, he would have to wait 1 hour for the dry cycle, he would be dead in 10 minutes
