I have days like that.

My wife and I once got in line for the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City. We thought they were tourists waiting for a giuded tour. Once inside we were led past a coffin. It appeared someone of the Ducal family had died and we had entered the queue of those mourning him.

I have a life like that.

BTW, for the newbie readers—there’s “the other Patty,” right behind Pigpen and in front of Lucy.

Life is waiting in a long line, then at the end it’s an Ed Wood movie.

Beagles should get in for free.

Interesting timing. It’s Fan Expo weekend up here in the north, and one of the first things I learned about going to cons is ‘never get into line without confirming what it’s for first. :)

Then why were you in line, Snoopy? I’m pretty sure they don’t allow dogs in the theatre. Unless they’re guide dogs, probably.

Or maybe it’s the Battle of Beagle, with Trevor Beaglehoward, so I can fly Hurricanes and Spitfires….

If they let Pigpen into the theater, I don’t see why they wouldn’t let Snoopy in.

Poor Pig-Pen made only around 140 appearances throughout the 45 years that he has existed in the strip; he’s the most under-used of all fictional characters.

Nowadays, they’d have to pay like $8 to get one movie ticket.

I love the little nuances, i.e., the different denominations of money, Lucy using her right hand instead of her left like the others, etc. What a great strip!

Where they buying tickets for a movie?

It’s nice to see almost all of the Peanuts characters together.

Snoopy is miles away.

Sounds like a low information voter.

Franklin doesn’t live in their neighborhood. He lives ‘across town’ in the same neighborhood as Roy and “Peppermint” Patty (speaking of whom, how long before she drops the “quotes” from her name?).

Franklin was introduced to the strip about two years after this one appeared. You might enjoy reading this article about him.

I might understand that Lucy might be crabby enough not to pay for Linus’ ticket, but why didn’t the Browns give Charlie money for both Sally’s and his tickets?
