I remember a “Hi & Lois” strip where Trixie, the baby, is sucking her thumb. She makes a kind of “Blah” face, then sticks the thumb into a jelly jar to “refresh the flavour.”
@Snoopy_FanI also love the songs “She Loves You” and “I Want To Hold Your Hand” Both are very catchy and ‘feel good’ songs. -I posted this at Andy Capp on Wednesday, I thought you might like it. “She Loves You” is the first song on this album.
I didn’t grow up listening to The Beatles but I’m glad I’ve now caught up what I missed because The Beatles were way before my time. They’re a fantastic band. I am pleased our musical tastes are somewhat the same but even if they weren’t then that’s fine. We can’t all like the same things. I know you like Johnny Mathis, Paul Anka and Nat King Cole. I do as well. Love them!-Anyway, I don’t want to witter on too much in case you are busy with something. Just relax and take it easy if you can. My weekend is going very well so far. I hope yours is too.-Love, Annelise
Thanks so much for the Beatles album!!! Love it! I’m letting it play while I catch up on some house work. They certainly don’t make music like they used to… I remember being about six years old when “I Feel Fine” came out. My brother bought the 45rpm and he played it over and over and over. I got tired of it back then but it does bring back some great memories. I think “Eight Days A Week” was on the other side. That was another great song.
Glad to hear that your weekend is going well. Mine is, too. Enjoy your Sunday!

I’m absolutely sure that Lucy does not have sweet thumbs like her brother. Sour, maybe….
