Not much of a skating costume, Snoop.
They would love him anywhere.
Snoopy is so well-drawn in each panel of these World Famous Skater strips. This was Charles Schulz at the height of his abilities.
After all of these comic strips, I sure hope there isn’t a rule that states that dogs are not permitted to participate in the Olympics. Snoopy deserves a happy ending here, dangit!

Doesn’t he have a crush on Peggy Fleming?
I just see one problem with Snoopy competing in any skating event. Forget the costume, he isn’t wearing skates. I’m pretty sure that’s a requirement.
It would be so cool if a skater in the Olympics dressed as Snoopy.
That explains what year this one might be from. The Grenoble, France Olympics were held in 1968.
And the takeoff, air position, and landing are perfect for an axel jump. Schulz knew his skating and edges!
Double Axels are so last century, Snoopy. Nowadays, it’s all about the Triple Axel and the Quad jumps if you’re a male figure skater!
This must’ve been exciting for Snoopy. Haha
