When we were young, back when Adam was a lad, my brother and I made “goop” but we called it our Secret Recipe. We went into the kitchen one day when mom wasn’t home and mixed together peanut butter and maple syrup and crumbled in a few graham crackers. Maple syrup is and was expensive, thus the reason for the stealth!
@Snoopy_FanI have some good news for you at last. I am starting a Work Placement on 2nd June. It’s all arranged so I won’t need to go for an interview. I’m only there 2 days a week to start with but I can come in more often after some time has passed. I would like to work 3 or 4 days a week at least but I was told it should be 2 days to start off with. I think my hours are 10am-2pm but this may change in the future.-Even though it looks like I’m going on a Work Placement for definite, I’m still not getting my hopes that it will get me a job in the future. I still think it’ll take me a very long time to find employment but for the time being, I’m getting experience and taking the advice gave me. On Friday, I applied for an apprenticeship in my local area. It’s currently being progressed and it won’t matter if it’s unsuccessful since I’m going on a Work Placement but just thought I’d try anyway.-So your prayers worked. Thank you. -I hope your week is wonderful. I’ll be thinking about you. Thank you for everything.

I don’t think you’ll find a bowl of goop for 5¢ today.

Lucy’s five-cent goop must be better than her five-cent psychiatric help.

I wouldn’t take goop from anyone.

I remember that there was actually a recipe for this stuff in the Peanuts Cookbook back in the 1970’s. I believe it was essentially frosting.

Green goop is best.

We used to make “goop” from vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and salted peanuts. Stirred together until they had the right consistency of goop.

What does Lucy’s goop consist of?
Dare I ask.

The Peanuts gang evolved over the years. Most of the time In the early days they made mud pies. Usually Violet and Patty, I think.
