The world is resting on the backs of four giant elephants, all standing on a giant turtle as it swims its way through space and pretends to be a WWI flying ace.
The Peanuts Wiki says that Woodstock was one of two birds that hatched on Snoopy’s stomach in 1966 (the other flew away), but wasn’t named until 1970. Until he gained a name, Schulz considered the unnamed bird female so since in this strip Snoopy refers to the bird as “he” we could assume it’s not “she who would become Woodstock,” or Peanuts history is not so cut and dried and any bird appearing now is simply the progenitor of “he who is Woodstock.”

It’s always a compliment when somebody copies you.
But I have a feeling Snoopy already knows that.
