I noticed only recently that a new coloring style is used, I hope it’s not replacing the old style. The old coloring style uses always a variety of colors as background color and doesn’t use gradients.That style is still used, but when the action is outsidewe get sometimes this new style with “realistic” blackground and gradients.I find this new style dull and hope it remains exceptional.I am also worried about the use of gradients. The foreground distinguishes better from the background, the look is more spatial, but the disadvantage is that the use of computer gradients adds something to the drawings which is misplaced — a shiny, polished look, which distracts from Charles Schulz’ ingenious minimalistic drawing style.
Wow, does that say 1969? I started school – 1st grade – in 1969. We had a teacher’s strike. Local parents were asked to sit in with classes until the strike was resolved. So, there I am, starting school for the first time, I walk into my classroom, and there sits…MY MOTHER!!!

Maybe she’s just a lot younger than all the other teachers. Somebody whose 24 or 25 would standout in a group where most folks are between 45 and 60.

And today she’s out standing in front of the school…with a placard!

I like the new coloring OK. We don’t have a say in it either way, in the end.

Doctors and teachers seem to go on strike the most.

@Maizing
Nothing wrong with that. The pastel shades look more babyish. Fits the drawing style.

I know children falling in love with their teachers is rather common. I have an aunt who is a teacher and it happened to her.
