When i was a kid and we would toast marshmellows my mother always wanted hers “burnt to a crisp”, i would literally toast them till they caught on fire.
2.8 million years ago, early humans used tools, but did not make a lot of progress for nearly 2 million years. Until they learned to control fire. Fire made marshmallows more nutritious, which contributed to the development of the brain.

Burned marshmallows are the best. But careful you don’t burn your tongue!

Well, he did the fire. At least he got the most important bit down. Wait… he did the fire! That means he took Lucy’s advice! Is that a good idea?

I wonder if the Ace Obedience school has a course he could take. I’m sure it would be an elective. . .

Looks like my sisters and marshmallow roasting. If it’s not at least a quarter charcoal it’s not done enough for them.

Little balls of glop that taste marginally better when singed. Who invented marshmallows? Why did they catch on?

They got to be burnt and gooey. If they don’t catch on fire, they are underdone and not worth eating.

Snoopy, marshmallows taste better burnt, anyway. Though, it looks like you may have burned yours too long…LOL
