Leo Tolstoy took seven or eight years to work on his novel. Snoopy beat his time.

Did Snoopy include a 100-page philosophical digression at the end?

I dunno…in this case, it’s more like Leo Getz.

When a few bedtime stories aren’t working: “Once upon a time, they lived happily ever after.”

Is that a real person or Snoopy’s fictional character?

Has anyone here actually read “War and Peace.” I confess that I haven’t. I did see a mini-series many years ago (not the most recent one), but I always regarded the book as something that one carried to impress people with your intellect.

I read it, and I really enjoyed it, too. Yes, it’s a long book, but it’s actually very good. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who doesn’t enjoy reading, and who isn’t into historical fiction.
