    How are those copper bracelets supposed to help with ARF-ritis anyway? (I couldn’t resist on the dog joke though.)

    A bee sting now and then keeps my arthritis at bay.

    From the Arthritis Foundation: Magnet therapy may attract people looking to ease their pain simply and inexpensively, but according to a new study published recently in the online journal PLOS ONE, magnetic wrist straps don’t work for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pain or stiffness. The study also confirmed that copper bracelets don’t work either.

    I’d wear a dead skunk around my neck it it would get rid of my arthritis.

    Pretty much the same with me when I get eczema on my hand and fingers.

    I take after my Mum for dry skin on hands I think.

    @Snoopy_Fan

    There’s nothing I can do. At least I’m still working. That’s the way I have to look at it.

    I’ve always been more of a saver than a spender so putting money aside is no problem.

    My boss mentioned she will let me know plenty of time in advance if it looks like no funding is coming in. If so then I will start looking for a new job. Apparently it’s easier to get a job when you already have one.

    I really hope it doesn’t come to that though

    I hope your sister is enjoying it in London. I have never been. It’s also nice that you and your family seem to be appreciative of British culture. Unlike most Americans.

    My thoughts are with those in Texas (I have distant cousins in Texas too!) and also in Florida. You hear nothing but terrible news.

    I now have 52 cousins from my DNA test. One of them contacted me! He’s from the Middle East but lives in Louisana, USA. He owns a gas station, has a wife who is a paediatric doctor, 3 children and his sister is a high school teacher. I was so hoping for someone to contact me. This is so cool. But I’m still being cautious. He is still a stranger. He’s already given me his phone number and email address but I want to wait a while before I have any “outside of Ancestry” contact. I’m just nervous like that.

    I am now off work for a week! I always thought I would hate having time off because I love working. But now I look forward and value time off.

    I hope you had a very Happy Birthday. And I’m so pleased you liked my video! It’s a pleasure making them for you.

    God Bless You.

    ♥♥♥
