Charlie Brown, convince yourself, Lucy has no way to play well.

You should charge her for your tips, CB. They’ll be as effective as the advice she dispenses.

You should arrange it so the bat is there when the ball arrives.

Given the quality of players on CB’s team, I’m having trouble understanding how Lucy got five at-bats in one game. Start with they don’t play nine innings in Little League baseball.

The lights are on, but nobody’s home …

Their team got enough at bats to bring Lucy to the plate five times? That is small victory in itself.

Lucy’s a real swinger.

At the rate your team scores Charlie, 3 times will be the most at bats in the game.

That explains the high strikeout rate in the Major Leagues today.

It could be that the ball was there on time. The bat was late and the ball wasn’t sticking around waiting on it.

And also, my glove is there but the ball avoids it! ;o(

They coated the ball with wood repellent.

If I were the ball, and I knew what the bat was about to do to me, I wouldn’t show up either.

My son said almost exactly that in Tee Ball one day. I had no comeback.

If she struck out five times that means that some people are getting on base.
