Now that’s a hard hit.

My dad said that on a regular basis about all sorts of things.

Would a cheap shot count when Lucy a number of times holds a football for Charlie Brown to kick and at the last second pulls the ball away causing Chuck to fall down on his butt?

Hey Lucy what is your answer to that?

You’d be head of your class? Either that school sucks, or you’re just hopeless at baseball, and it’s both.

But Chuck was never that great at baseball, either.

My family said pretty much the same thing about me regarding school and music.

My father always made me take tae-kwon-do lessons. I hated them.

That sounds like good advice, not a cheap shot. I was never a kid thirsting for knowledge, when I was Charlie’s age. But, as I got older, and electronics and photography became a part of my life, I started knowledge thirsting. With the call to preach, I became a person longing for biblical knowledge. And I still have that desire as I look into the first century of Xn ministry.

I think that CB’s father was a barber so anything Charlie Brown became would be a cut above his dad. Was there ever a grown-up Peanut Strip reunion to see what happened to all those beloved characters? The would be awesome.
