"What are you doing, Rat?" "For reasons unexplained, I have performed the first kind act of my life." "Oh? And what was that?" "I donated this nice park bench to the city, and in exchange, the city lets me have someone's name engraved on this plaque... So I chose Pig." "Yeah... Just think... Whenever someone sits by this lake, they'll think of me." "...Isn't it lovely?" "In memory of Pig" "Guys... I hate to tell you this, but you're gonna have to get this fixed... You only write "In memory of" if the guy's died." "What?? Dude, this was hecka expensive... I don't have the cash to get it re-engraved!" "Well, if it's gotta be fixed , it's gotta be fixed... What choice do have?" "...Goodbye, pal." "Cement"

I don’t like this strip. It tries to make humor out of death, and even if we know that the death of Pig never actually happens, I don’t like that it jokes that it does. Pastis, if you ever see this, consider it feedback.
