The warden of the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana announced the execution of cartoonist Stephan Pastis this past weekend after the president rejected his last minute pleas for clemency, saying only “Pastis is getting just what he deserves.” In other news, a mental patient whose pathetic delusion was that he is former cartoonist Stephan Pastis has escaped from confinement, but is believed to be harmless. In yet other news, the syndicate that carries Pearls Before Swine announced plans to outsource the creation of further strips to a consortium headquartered in Mumbai, India. All of this news (especially the first item) was met with great rejoicing by fans of comics nationwide.

Damn, I thought it was the White House, but I couldn’t imagine anyone would get to ‘go free’ from there! And I love the comment about the Virgin Croc! Melvin, let the good times roll!

Ive often wondered what happened when acartoonist ran out of fresh ideas. We all were duped!!! I say duped. We provided SP with more ideas and will watch like lemmings to see when he uses ours. Mercy!

It’s true. I agree with the above… Too funny, too funny, I had no idea he was going to put that spin on things…I thought the “virgin crocs” thing was funny as well and will miss Melvin too… Must the Crocs always hurt their own? Has’t they any mercy? Wait… what was I talking about? They’re Crocs! Furthermore, I never saw any Fb page vote, I’ve never seen anything put up on that Fb page… Hmmm… I think that part was made up! :)
